Though much of women’s birthing experiences has changed since the 70’s, some has stayed the same… like when the thought: “I don’t want to do this anymore” hits right around transition. Here my mom illustrates her experience as a woman in the 70’s, what it was like to birth while zonked out, waking up with your baby in another room, the brushing over of postpartum depression and the role of family.
